Insurance Agent
Austin joined the Minnwest Insurance Agency in early March of this year. He became licensed in Property & Casualty insurance in early May, and he’s currently working on his Life & Health licensing. Austin was born and raised in Tracy, MN where he currently lives with his wife, Gina, and their two cats and dog. He attended college at the University of Minnesota-Morris where he graduated with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He put that degree to use with an agronomy position with Ducks Unlimited right out of college. He then spent his early career at tru Shrimp in Balaton as a Research Technician and eventually a Research Supervisor.
Austin came to our agency looking for a career geared at engaging with the local community and helping residents and businesses protect the things they care about. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and golfing. He and his wife also help coach a variety of youth sports.
