Why join Minnwest?
We're not just a bank, we are a community bank. That means, we live in the communities we serve, we work with our neighbors and we treat each other like family. With 36 locations and more than $2 billion in assets, we’ve grown to be one of Minnesota’s largest banks. As a family owned business, we’re able to make decisions based on what’s best for our employees and customers.
We built our foundation on putting our customers first. At the core of that foundation, is our team. Our team is filled with people that are passionate about what they do, each other, and the communities and customers that they serve.
Our Core Values
The CUSTOMER is our first priority.
We will keep all of the COMMITMENTS we make.
We are the PEOPLE who get things done.
We will work together as a TEAM
Community Statement:
Minnwest Bank is dedicated to community involvement and customer service. Our interest in serving our customers and communities was inspired by our founder, M.D. (Pete) McVay, and has served us well for more than three decades. Today, our founder's vision is shared by more than 390 employees who are dedicated to building and sustaining our local communities.
“I feel privileged to work at Minnwest Bank. I have the opportunity to be a part of an organization that truly cares about its customers and employees. I am empowered and encouraged every day. I absolutely love supporting my co-workers – they are my favorite part of the job!”
“Minnwest has a very customer and employee-focused commitment. Employees are empowered to be imaginative and supported in trying to make the customer experience positive. I appreciate the long-term vision of a family owned bank, that does not have priorities changing with every new year or quarter. Minnwest Bank is well balanced and works to get decision makers close to the client, resulting in deep relationships with our customers. One of the things I find most rewarding is bringing new clients to the bank, and having them meet the executive team at the bank. The customers really like to know who they are doing business with.”
“I have had the privilege of working at Minnwest Bank for 19 years. Working at the bank has given me a place to learn, grow and develop long lasting connections with my colleagues. The environment fosters an ability to establish meaningful relationships within our teams and with our customers. Minnwest truly encompasses family values by making you feel as part of their own, and reinvests in their employees and communities.”
“Wow! They say time flies when you are having fun…but I can hardly believe I have been employed at Minnwest Bank for 35 years. I truly felt lucky to be hired as a bank teller back in 1985. There have been many changes in banking and technology over the years, but working for Minnwest has always been rewarding. I am so proud to work at a place that cares about our local community and the people that live here. Being part of the Minnwest family is a blessing.”
