"We," "our," and "us" means each of the following banks:

- Minnwest Bank Metro
- Minnwest Mortgage Corporation
Each of these banks is a separate entity, owned by the same corporate holding company. Each bank has the same privacy policy.
We recognize, respect and protect the personal privacy rights of all our customers. We realize that our customers entrust us with personal information and it is our policy to maintain our customers' information in a confidential manner. We are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of our customers' personal information, as well as personal information of all consumers who visit our institution and website.
NOTICE OF YOUR FINANCIAL PRIVACY RIGHTS
This is our privacy notice for our customers. When we use the words "you" and "your" we mean the following types of customers with each of the respective banks:
Our consumer customers who have a continuing relationship by purchasing or holding financial products or services such as a(n): Deposit Account, Loan Account, Safe Deposit Box, Retail Installment contract we hold and service, or Self-Directed Individual Retirement Account
Former Customers
We will tell you the sources of the information we collect about you. We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information. We will tell you what information we share about you with other entities. We will explain what your rights are, and how you can exercise them. If you share an account relationship with someone else, such as a joint account holder or co-borrower, we suggest that you share this information with such persons to ensure that each of you is aware of our policy of each of us and your options.
We first define some terms.
Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. Hereafter, we will use the term "information" to mean nonpublic personal information as defined in this section.
An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control. Each of us, for example, is an affiliate of each other bank, because all of us are owned by the same holding company.
A nonaffiliated third party is a person we do not employ or a company that is not an affiliate of ours. This is also known as nonaffiliated third party, or simply, an "other party."
Opt out means a choice you can make to prevent certain sharing of information. We will explain how you can exercise this choice.
THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY, AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your information and to maintain the policy we are disclosing to you here.
THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT
Each of us collects information about its respective customers (you) from the following sources:
- Information you give us on applications or other forms
- Information about your transactions with us
- Information about your transactions with our affiliates
- Information about your transactions with other parties
- Information from a consumer reporting agency
- Information we receive through our Customer Identification Program
YOUR INFORMATION AND OUR AFFILIATES
We may disclose information about you to our affiliates. Here are the kinds of information and the source of that information:
- Transaction and experience information from our account records: 1. Information about your transactions and experience with each of us, such as: Name, Address, Account balances, Account activity, Types of accounts, Parties to the transaction, Credit card usage, Payment history, and Deposit history. Federal law allows us to disclose the information listed above with our affiliates. You do not have a right to opt out of the sharing of this information. Other information taken from sources other than transactions and experience.
- 2. Information you give us on an application or other forms, such as : Social Security Number, Assets, and Income.
- 3. Information we receive from a credit reporting agency, such as: Creditworthiness and Credit History.
You may opt out of the disclosure of the information listed above (numbers 2 and 3).

Reasons For Disclosure
We may disclose information about you to our affiliates:
- To provide you with information about additional products and services
- To evaluate our total relationship with you and our family of companies and give you the best price that relationship deserves

We also reserve the right to disclose information about you in the future with the following additional types of affiliates:
Financial service providers, such as:
- Securities broker-dealers
- Leasing companies
INFORMATION ABOUT FORMER CUSTOMERS
We have the same disclosure and privacy policies for former customers as current customers. A "former customer" is one who has closed all accounts or become inactive (dormant) with one of us.
YOUR INFORMATION AND OTHER PARTIES
We do not disclose your information to anyone except as disclosed in this policy or as permitted by law. Examples of this might include disclosures necessary to service your account or prevent unauthorized transactions. (We only share information about our customers with our affiliate banks).
Fair Credit Reporting Act Information Sharing Opt Out
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we have a right to share information regarding our transactions or experiences with you. Unless you instruct otherwise, we also have the right to share any other information about you with our affiliates (persons related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control, now or in the future) either directly or indirectly. This other information may include, but is not limited to, application information, credit reports from a consumer reporting agency, and any other information we have about you. If you do not want us to share this other information with our affiliates you may utilize the opt out methods set forth below.
Opt Out Information
YOUR RIGHT TO BLOCK THE DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Affiliates. We are permitted to disclose information about our transactions or experiences with you to affiliates. You do not have the right to opt out of the disclosure of this particular type of information. We may also disclose other information to our affiliates (that is, information beyond our transactions and experiences with you), unless you tell us not to disclose this other information.
Your decision to block the disclosure of your information will apply to information collected from all products and services you receive from the bank of which you are a customer.
An opt out instruction from you will also apply to any information derived from your accounts about any joint participants in your accounts. Remember though, that your opt out will not apply to information we share that is related to your actual transactions and experience with one of us, which we make available to our affiliates.
If you have previously opted out of this sharing of information between our banks, that opt out will continue to be effective. You do not need to send us another opt out.
If you wish to opt out of the disclosure of your information, you may do so by checking the appropriate box on the attached Opt Out Notice and returning it to us at the address for your bank.
Remember, if you are a customer of more than one of these banks, you (or a party who participates with you in an account) should get one of these forms, from each bank, and you should opt out with each bank separately.
Other Ways to Protect Your Privacy
Marketing Lists
You can reduce the amount of marketing material and credit applications you receive from other companies via mail, telephone or e-mail by writing the Direct Marketing Association at the addresses listed below. You must provide your name, complete home address, telephone number and signature with your request.

Identiy Theft
Identity theft is a serious and growing problem. If someone has fraudulently used your identification to establish credit, report the incident as quickly as possible to each of the credit reporting agencies listed below and ask that a fraud report be placed in your file.
You may also check if any additional credit accounts have been opened withot your consent or whether unauthorized chages were billed to your accounts. Contact these credit reporting agencies to obtain a copy of your credit report.

Your Right to Opt Out of Information Sharing. If you prefer that we not disclose information not solely related to transactions or experiences with you to our affiliated companies, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law).
Each joint account holder may opt out separately or any one of you may opt out on behalf of all joint holders.
